Birthday Envy
If you have ever wondered what it's like to be 4 years old, have a domineering personality and watch your sister turn 6 and open presents on her special day, it looks something like this...
That is the funniest picture I've seen for a while. But still a dificult situation for you to manage I'm sure. I especially love it when they start using the phrase "It's not fair!"
We wished & sang b'day song for my son as well:-) Same with the cake.. both cut the cake instead of just my daughter..
She is looking really sad but I think 4 is the right age to understand about celebrating your own days & let others be the queen on their owns:-)And she will get to enjoy all the gifts her sister got;-)
In the working world for 11 years, married for 9, a Dad for over 6 years. I graduated Lehigh University with a double major in English and political science with the intention of becoming a lawyer, and here I am working in the land of LEGO bricks as head of North American brand communications. But don't worry, I'm not here to sell you bricks, just to share my experiences and readings on the subject of kids today and their working parents. At least she's not taking her gifts and yelling "MINE!".
That's what I'm dealing with...
